Come Away to a Quiet Place and Rest Awhile ~ Christian Retreats with Intensive Counseling

Wives World. “How Long Lord?”

Learning to wait on The Lord is one of the biggest challenges we will ever have.  For my clients who are with me because of unanswered prayers in their life, this can be one of the most difficult challenges to their faith.  Waiting on God who has the mindset of  one day =’s 1,000 years, it is incomprehensible to our human minds to understand God’s timing in our lives.  So like the Psalmist of old Psalm 13, which is called the victims prayer btw, we cry out and ask how long…

When there are no answers to questions we are forced, absolutely forced to learn to trust that the One who knows us intimately has the Best Way.  If He hasn’t showed up it is because His loves you.  He perfection is so amazing that He is having to work in the situation so that the outcome is the absolute best one.

Somehow in the midst of the impossible situation, we walk on…knowing deeply that He is working behind the scenes on our behalf.  Someday, we will I understand the workings of it all.  Until that day, we cry out and sometimes have glimpses of trusting.
