Come Away to a Quiet Place and Rest Awhile ~ Christian Retreats with Intensive Counseling

Wives World ~ “I’ve Already Dealt with THAT!”

Thinking we’ve dealt with an issue and really dealing with it can be two different things.  Dealing with THAT means we’ve walked through the pain of it and applied the TRUTH to it …every angle of it.

The enemy gives us a GREAT deceptive way of “dealing with…”  It’s called DENIAL.   Denial is a wonderful tool that keeps us safe from feeling pain.  Although the main emotion living under denial is FEAR, denial works well to help us avoid and skirt the real painful wounds of our life.

Denial works for awhile, but eventually we will become depressed, anxiety-ridden souls wondering if we will ever be sane again.  Denial works to keep the enemy constantly playing the tapes in our heads.  This background noise completely interrupts our ability to hear the Truth and to renew our minds.

I challenge women to come out of the denial closet and bring to the light what their hearts know is there hiding.  Light melts away the mold, the dust, the parasitic quality of wounds.  Bringing things to the surface is the only true way to walk in a victorious life.
